Interested in Freemasonry?

Many men have heard of Freemasonry, but few have had the opportunity to learn what it truly represents.

Freemasonry is a fraternity dedicated to personal growth, moral development, mutual support, and the pursuit of truth. It brings together men of different backgrounds who share a commitment to integrity, responsibility, and lifelong learning.

Who May Apply?

Membership in Spessart Lodge No. 875 is open to men of good character who:

  • Believe in a Supreme Being
  • Are of lawful age
  • Seek personal growth and self-improvement
  • Respect the beliefs and opinions of others
  • Desire to become part of a fraternity founded on friendship, charity, and truth

No particular profession, social background, or religious denomination is required.

What Can You Expect?

Freemasonry is not a social club, business network, or service organization.

It is a journey of personal development through symbolism, ritual, education, and fellowship.

Members are encouraged to strengthen their character, support one another, and contribute positively to their families, communities, and society.

The Path to Membership

Becoming a Freemason is a gradual process.

Prospective candidates are invited to meet with members of the Lodge, learn about Freemasonry, and ask questions in an open and informal setting.

This allows both the candidate and the Lodge to determine whether membership would be a good fit.
